In the heart of the Upper Canavese, the young Lorenzo Simone, driven by great enthusiasm, invested in some wild land in order to bring back the tradition of wine production. The wine is the image of this hilly area where hard work and sacrifices still happen every day.
The 4 hectares of vines were carved from the advancing scrub, and native grape varieties (Barbera, Freisa, Nebbiolo and Chatus) were the right choice, in terms of the environment, to develop the land in a perfect balance between ancient passion and modern technologies. The name of the company was inspired by an event in 1474- the trail of four women of Levone accused of witchcraft during the Holy Inquisition – and adds an aura of fascination and mystery, not to be forgotten in view of the wine and food tourism in the newly opened bed & breakfast, Ca dla Masca, a valuable item.
