In a hamlet not far from the developed area, we find a number of businesses typical of farmhouses: raising the Piedmont breed of cattle, growing grains (including antique maize: Pignoletto Rosso, Nostrano dell’Isola) and Piattella Canavesana di Cortereggio beans, in addition to the vineyards and their bees making different types of honey.
For generations, farming knowledge has been handed down from father to son. In 004, the company passing from Domenico to Loris was a confirmation of their commitment to continue producing for the future with their roots solidly anchored in tradition. The vineyard area is increasing until it is driving the winery with labels being made over for the various kinds of Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG and the Canavese DOC. Tastings and educational courses related to the world of wine complete their expanded range of offerings.
