In 2008, ten ‘friendly competitors’, now numbering 26, came together to promote an area that is witness to a now distant past. A decidedly singular route was taken towards the recovery of an abandoned vineyard to bring it back to its old splendour, centred around the Nebbiolo and the Canavese DOC. A few square metres of land with good exposure in the Gere area of the Prascorsano municipality are in good hands and are showing that dreams, when persistently supported by passion and hard work, can come true. Production of 350 bottles at the first 2013 harvest, 500 in 2015, and in 2016 a grape harvest that promises to yield 900- 1000 bottles. This shows that farming, environment and the land can still provide work for young people and the future. Wine production currently takes place in the Loris Livio Caretto cellar in San Giorgio Canavese.
