This company was reborn in 2000 from a desire to restore the wine production tradition handed down by the owners’ ancestors, in the heart of the Special Nature Reserve of the Sacred Mountain of Belmonte. Abandoned during the 1970s due to a lack of human and financial opportunities, the business recovered through the commitment of a group of friends who shared a passion and love for their land.
Cutting back the woods from the surface with the best sun exposure and rebuilding old terraces and a system of new rows were essential operations in remodelling the vineyards worth keeping, along with constructing a modern cellar. Traditional grape varieties are prominent here – Nebbiolo, Barbera, Chatus – but there is also Syrah. Amidst the grapevines one can enjoy quite a panorama of the valley below and the populated area of the Upper Canavese.
